MISS WILSON SPRING/SUMMER 2011
What a difference a season makes.
This time last year the Miss Wilson label was a figment of the imagination. Now it’s the fastest growing division of the Kathryn Wilson brand and shows no sign of slowing down.
The Miss Wilson line sits under the umbrella of Kathryn Wilson, gleaning tips, techniques, shapes, colours and lessons from its big sister. It does everything a diffusion line should, bringing the brand to life in a new way and engaging a new audience.
Simplicity is always the key for Miss Wilson and summer 11/12 is no exception. There are no tricks or curve-balls, but a solid collection that is built with integrity in mind.
The three best-selling styles are indicative of the collection’s qualities. The #1 selling ‘Harriet Heel’ comes in three block colours and is based on comfort and versatility. The heel height promotes long wear and gives the illusion of a higher pitch. The #2 selling ‘Delaney Sandal’ is more fashion-forward, constructed in a heavy canvas for durability and easy care. The style sits comfortably between a winter brogue and a summer sandal. The #3 selling ‘Anna’Lise Sandal’ is more feminine, with black, gold and silver colourways. It’s elegant shape and affordable price tag makes it a must-have for a variety of ages.
The aim of Miss Wilson is to bring a larger audience closer to the Kathryn Wilson brand, giving consumers an open door to a premium brand. Its wide variety of styles are based on popular shapes and top-selling styles from Kathryn Wilson collections, making it a safe bet for first-time buyers and fashion savvy girls.
